Recently filed lawsuit

A lawsuit has recently been filed in Alaska Superior Court based on allegations from the mid-1980s against the late Francis Murphy and Stanley Allie, entitled John Doe v. Corporation of St. Benedict’s Parish of the Archdiocese of Anchorage, Corporation of the Catholic Archbishop of Anchorage, and the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Boston, 3AN-21-04584CI. 
 
The Archdiocese is aware of the allegations in the complaint but will refrain from commenting upon it during litigation.  The Archdiocese takes all allegations seriously and works diligently to address allegations of harm.
