MissionWe are all challenged to accompany and empower young men and women in their vocational discernment. In the Archdiocese of Anchorage-Juneau, we continue to have young men courageously say “yes” to God’s call to the priesthood. These men are committed to serve those in need and to be Christ’s presence in our parishes and faith communities, as they continue to discern God’s will.
THE SEMINARIAN CIRCLE’S MISSION
In addition to spiritual support through prayer, many Catholics are committed to financially support our sacramental future. Seminarian Circle members are parishioners of the Archdiocese of Anchorage-Juneau who want to help fund seminarian formation. By their faithful financial support, they become a part of our story, and we invite them into an intimate community of like-minded individuals to interact with the seminarians they support.
How are funds used?Contributions are used to support the men studying for the priesthood, today and in the future. Each year of formation costs over $50,000 for one seminarian in our Archdiocese.
Support for the Seminarian Formation Fund is made possible through the support of Seminarian Circle Members, and all Catholics.
What is required to become a member?We invite you to join the Seminarian Circle in one of two ways:
• Make a minimum annual contribution of $1,000, renewable each year. Gifts may also be made twice a year or quarterly.
• Give an ongoing monthly recurring donation of $85+.
Contributions can be made during the annual Archbishop’s Golf Tournament for Seminarian Formation, the Seminarian Night Dinner and Fundraiser, at Seminarian Circle events, or any time throughout the year.

Benefits of Becoming a Seminarian Circle MemberSeminarian Circle members will get the opportunity to get to know our seminarians because you are investing in the future of our Church, and you are the key to that future by helping to fund their formation.
Members are also invited to attend seminarian formation milestone events, such as ordinations. Throughout the year, members are invited to gather with the Archbishop for special liturgies and receptions.
